The best part about working at a unique space is the room for creativity. Lacuna Artist Lofts is a beautiful space in the Pilsen area of Chicago, filled with brick, wood, and many artistic details. Kelsey and Bobby wanted floral to bring their Lacuna Artist Lofts wedding to life and bring a little more of the outdoors in.
Fall textures were a highlight of Kelsey and Bobby’s wedding floral. Rich burgundy and plum, dusty pink and muted neutrals, mixed with every shade of greenery created the textured palette. Dahlias, garden roses, ranunculus, scabiosa, and dusty miller were just a few of the focal blooms used throughout. The arrangements were designed in a tailored-organic style creating an overall romantic look.
A few favorite moments included the built-in arch covered in lush smilax, the ceiling installation of greenery and dripping white delphinium, and hanging cafe lights covered in ruscus. Kelsey & Bobby could not have been a sweeter duo, and we wish them the very best in their first year of marriage!
Sean Cook captured the entire day beautifully, and we are sharing a few favorites below. If you didn’t catch that we also got to work on Kelseys’ sister’s wedding, in the spring of last year..check it out here.
