Vibrant Summer Wedding at Etre Farms

Summer weddings call for bright, vibrant, cheerful colors! This past July, Morgan & Matt tied the knot at Etre Farms, a beautiful venue in Southwest Michigan, and we brought truckloads of the most colorful blooms. Sidenote: for those looking for an upscale barn style venue within driving distance to Chicago, look no further! Etre Farms is a hidden gem, just 90 minutes from Chicago.

Our team worked closely with Lyndsey Green of Shannon Gail Events to create a truly spectacular event with the most exquisite design details. Beautiful artwork by EJD Designs can be seen throughout the beautiful galleries below captured by Amanda Megan Miller. From the gorgeous tented ceremony to the vibrant cocktail hour featuring the cutest little lamas, this is one that can brighten up that Pinterest board of yours!

Personal Flowers

Wedding Ceremony at Etre Farms

Morgan & Matt made things official under a clear span tent just off the main building at Etre Farms. The Life In Bloom team strung pockets of greenery in the ceiling to give the tent a more lush feel. The ceremony aisle was lined with a hedge of colorful floral running the entire length. At the end of the aisle, we created an impressive curved floral arch with a rainbow of colorful blooms. The arch perfectly framed the surrounding property.

An Epic Cocktail Hour complete with Llamas

Cocktail Hour was steps away from the wedding ceremony with many activities and fun to be had. There was a cigar lounge, decked out in an equally lush display of floral, a garden-inspired escort card wall, and even a couple of llamas to keep things fun (and cute). The best part about Etre Farms is there are multiple spaces throughout the property to create new experiences.

Wedding Reception at Etre Farms Wedding Venue

Inside of the main barn, the space is very white. Clean, restored, but white. As such, to bring Morgan’s vision to life, we brought in 12′ tall trees throughout the space to liven the space up. Then we brought in layers and layers of color. Between the flowers, the candles, and the linens, the overall room felt so colorful and alive. Some of our favorite flowers from the centerpieces were Coral Dahlias, Yellow Butterfly Ranunculus, Red Sweet Pea and Yellow Selosha!
