For the Lyon Family Foundation 2022 Peony Party Life In Bloom worked with ESP Presents to create a fundraising event to remember! Peonies, synchronized swimmers, and the cutest Parisian drink cabana you’ve ever seen. These were just the beginning to this summer brunch soiree. And we designed, not one, but TWO of the most gorgeous DJ booths. The DJ Booths were complete with custom graphics and a lush display of floral installations and urn arrangements. After all, who said a DJ booth shouldn’t be gorgeous?

A RAINY COCKTAIL HOUR

It was a cool summer day with rain in the forecast. But that didn’t prevent the Lyon Family Foundation’s second annual Peony Party from becoming THE event of the summer. After the ladies arrived through a series of trellises covered in roses and peonies, attendees gathered beneath the poolside canopies. During the cocktail hour, as rain started to fall, they grabbed a drink from the ‘cocktail cabana’ and the real fun began.

Surrounded by an explosion of colorful floral including roses, peonies, and bougainvillea, DJ Matt Roan got the energy going. Meanwhile a team of synchronized swimmers made their way out from behind the cocktail canopy and into the pool. All eyes turned to the swimmers as they performed a series of synchronized performances.

THE TENT

At the conclusion of the cocktail hour, the rain began to pick up. So guests quickly made their way through the peony gardens and into into the tent. Here, a truly breathtaking setting awaited everyone. At the entrance to the tent, the Life In Bloom team designed two textural floral explosions secured to the drape tiebacks.

Stepping into the tent, each table was set with White Siena chairs by Nuage and a mix of Vintage Stripe French Blue and Brimble Pearl table linens. Finally, the tables were full of lush arrangements and bud vases exploding with peonies. Above the tables, we suspended delicate blue lanterns which looked so darling in the tent.

Lastly, we constructed a custom backdrop for the DJ Booth with green trim accents and beautiful illustrative details. On each side of the DJ Booth, sat two oversized floral urns which framed the panelists who shared the exciting accomplishments of the Lyon Family Foundation.

Finally, a huge thanks to all of the amazing vendors that we worked with! This event was one of our favorites of the summer. And every element was intentional and beautiful, the Life In Bloom way!
