Meet Taylor: wedding planner extraordinaire, owner of Amelia Cole Events, and our stunning summer bride. It is safe to say we could not have been more excited when Taylor asked us to bring her wedding vision to life. And let us be the first to say, it was epic. The Patrick Haley Mansion summer wedding was one to remember.
Taylor & Dan said “I Do” at Patrick Haley Mansion. The historic mansion was home to a prestigious family in the late 1800s. And the venue today has an elegant and debonair ambiance, perfect for a summer wedding like theirs. Every detail was accounted for and True Grace Photography captured them all beautifully.
It certainly helped that we had a GORGEOUS floral palette to work with! We used a lush mix of white peonies, hydrangea, ranunculus, roses, boxwood, smilax, ruscus greenery, and more. Taylor’s mid summer wedding vision was truly brought to life with that dark, rich, elegant greenery.
First, for the ceremony, we covered the white arbor in a dreamy cascade of smilax and peonies. A simple, yet breathtaking backdrop. Next during the reception, guests walked into a floral covered staircase. Lastly, our favorite moment of the entire day was the head table. A silk runner, multiple glass compotes and taper candles were placed along a rustic farm table. We could talk about this summer wedding all day, but we will let the photos say the rest.
