Venue: Galleria Marchetti – The Pavilion

Capacity: 450 people seated with stage & dance floor

About:

The Pavilion at Galleria Marchetti has been one of our favorite venues to work at this past year. It’s location and beauty makes it the perfect spot for a romantic Chicago wedding. The East Courtyard is a stunning outdoor ceremony spot; it is a secret garden in the middle of the city. Guests enter through iron gates to the ceremony or straight into your cocktail hour. The tented pavilion is heated or air-conditioned depending on the time of year and is light, bright, and dreamy.

Design Tips:

The ceremony site is absolutely beautiful, but hanging chandeliers in the pergola can really take it to the next level. We also highly recommend draping (as seen below), if chandeliers are not your thing. In the pavilion, we love to see tall arrangements. The height added to the room gives texture and warmth to the space. Bringing in a pop of color goes a long way in this space (even if it’s just with greenery)!
