Venue: Chicago History Museum
Capacity: 300 people with seated dinner & DJ
Location: Lincoln Park
About:
The Chicago History Museum is the essence of class and elegance. On top of its’ historic charm and beauty, the location could not be more ideal for a Chicago wedding. The ceremony is placed between a lush garden and cathedral steps which lead right into the museum, the perfect entrance and exit for a wedding party. The main ballroom is classic and neutral with the most beautiful molding you’ve ever seen. The chandeliers and checkered dance floor are a must see as well!
Design Tips:
As stunning as the space is itself, given the tall ceilings, we always recommend some tall arrangements to really bring texture and a ‘WOW’ factor when your guests walk into the space. For your tables, a mixture of rounds and rectangles is our favorite style. Last, but not least, textured/colored votives are a must because of the “no flame” policy. No worries though, we have plenty of choices 🙂
