Over the past several months, we have written numerous blogs about some of our favorite wedding venues. But up until this point, we have neglected one of our favorite venues of all: The Tent! Whether in a backyard, or out in a field somewhere, we absolutely love tent weddings!
Tent weddings provide the benefits of an outdoor wedding while still keeping guests relatively protected from the elements and allow for flexibility in location. Additionally, you have the freedom to choose from most any vendors that you have your heart set on. Whereas a lot of wedding venues have a short list of vendors that you must choose from, with a tent wedding, you are free to choose whatever caterers, photographers, or decor companies you prefer.
We have produced several tent weddings over the past several years in various locations and weather conditions. From the North Shore of Chicago to Western Illinois, on a hot and sunny day to torrential downpours, each was as beautiful and especially as memorable as any other wedding we’ve ever designed.
