Leon Young and Sae Jun had the most beautiful spring wedding at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum filled with ranunculus, peonies, garden roses and a plethora of tiny textural blooms that made guests feel as though they were transported to an english cottage garden!
The two were married in the Museum’s stone terrace where we created a birchwood arch which we accented with a delicate trailing garland of Italian Ruscus, Garden Pots on each side, as well as a romantic sheer white drape. After the ceremony, guests were able to access the butterfly exhibit for cocktail hour where butterflies fly around and occasionally land on you (if you’re lucky)!
Romantic stemmed candles adorned the lush stemmed compote arrangements at each table of the reception. Some special touches to their wedding included an all-lily of the valley bouquet for the bride and the most beautiful escort card arrangement made up of spirea, bells of Ireland, and viburnum.
We wish all the best to this sweet couple! Their gorgeous photos were shot by the ever talented, Matushek Photography.
