Jen & David were married at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester, Michigan this past Fall. Two things to note. 1. Yes, we do travel! and 2. Rochester is the most adorable little town! I wish I had more time to explore the cute city.
We did Jen’s sister Kate’s wedding in one of our first full wedding seasons and I was thrilled when Jen contacted me about her own wedding! Kate’s bridal bouquet was one of my all time favorite’s and Jen’s was yet another. Both of these sister’s have great taste in floral 🙂
Jen came to us with a fabulous vision for a Rifle Paper Company Inspired wedding. We started with a color palette of peach, orange, ivory & greenery. We used lots of textures in the centerpieces including orange amaryllis, peach garden roses, feathery white astilbe, orange ilex berries, ivory & orange dahlias, orange ranunculus, peach stock and lots of greenery! Half of the centerpieces consisted of shimmering gold mercury glass compotes with that gorgeous floral mix, while the other half of the tables hosted rustic brown lanterns surrounded with wreaths of greenery. Orange amaryllis, persimmons and spray roses accented the wreaths. The head table featured a long & lush garland filled with peach, ivory, and orange blooms with lots of berries and persimmons tucked in.
Jen’s bouquet was composed of peach garden roses, white anemone, peach stock, cream colored roses, and delicate queen anne’s lace, with a pop of bright orange ranunculus. Olive and jasmine vine trailed throughout the bouquet creating an organic & loose look. The bridesmaids carried similar bouquets to Jen’s and one of my favorite details were the flower girl crowns. They looked so adorable on the girl’s and they just happened to be the same flower girl’s as Kate’s wedding :).
Jen & David, thanks for inviting us up to Rochester, MI for a weekend of fun! It was such a joy to work with you both and create some gorgeous blooms!
