The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago has the most beautiful terrace for an intimate outdoor wedding. Lauren and Justin were married on this very terrace with 100 of their closest family and friends. The spot overlooks an architectural garden and is just steps away from Lake Michigan, a stunning Chicago setting.
Their style was absolutely perfect for the museum wedding: contemporary with a touch of romance. The ceremony set with a bold burgundy arch that popped against the grey terrace. Trailing eucalyptus, garden roses, and other textures draped down their arch.
Lauren’s bouquet was anything but ordinary filled with dahlias, garden roses, astillbe, eucalyptus, jasmine, and scabiosa. A plum, silk, trailing ribbon created a contrast against her light dress. The reception brought in rose gold terrarium lanterns and cafe lights to create elegant ambiance. The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago is constantly rotating exhibits, so Lauren and Justin were lucky to have a beautiful backdrop for their fall wedding.
These two were such a pleasure to work with and we wish Lauren and Justin the best in their first year of marriage. Take a look for yourself at these stunning photos below by Louie Abellera Photography:
