Life In Bloom Yearly Summary:
Each wedding season at Life In Bloom is different and brings about its own challenges and rewards. This year we added a second studio (where we now house 95% of our inventory). This opened up a LOT more space to produce our ever-growing weddings. We also added a new Studio Prep Manager, Ella Saunders who is settling in very well in her new role. We brought on a Studio Dog {Clark.The.Golden} who is still learning the ropes (like how NOT to eat every stem/bloom that he finds on the ground). Our focus to provide the best customer experience and quality control in the industry remains our top priority. This year’s weddings and months flew by in a blur but if we HAD to summarize the season month by month, we would say the following:
Between January and February Life In Bloom produced just ONE wedding. Although production was slow during this time of year we were super busy meeting with so many of our wonderful new 2019 clients! March and April started to slowly pick up and it was a nice way of easing back into wedding season and getting familiar with our new systems and processes. May was STEADY starting slow and ending with a bang. Memorial Day Weekend was INTENSE. June was INSANE. We’re talking 13 weddings INSANE! July was a nice mid-season RE-CHARGE with just a handful of weddings and a couple days off to celebrate the 4th. August consisted of a handful of some of our LARGEST weddings to date! Labor Day somehow was wedding-less which was a DREAM and rarely ever happens! September and October had some of our most HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED weddings of the year! November was strangely BUSY! Our December clients this year really embraced winter and specifically the HOLIDAY SEASON!

Life In Bloom In The Studio:
This year, the Life In Bloom team continued to grow and get better! In addition to being so talented and hard working, we believe that we have the most kind and professional team. And we had a LOT of fun together throughout wedding season and we’ll miss our design crew over the next few months as it slows down in the studio. Enjoy some photos/videos of some of the craziness, perhaps you’ll catch a glimpse of your own wedding when it was being produced!
Life In Bloom On-Site:
As you may have seen in the Life In Bloom “by the numbers” above, we had a plethora of stunning on-site suspended floral installations this year. Which meant a lot more time on site! Nothing makes us happier because we LOVE wedding set-ups! And with our reliance strictly on 16′ refrigerated trucks these days, is has made our installs so much easier. Now we can wheel in cart-after-cart of fresh product much more efficiently. Check out some of the action from some Life In Bloom wedding set-ups as well as some pictures of the “final product”.
Life In Bloom in 2020:
As the next year approaches we have plenty of exciting weddings that we are already anxiously looking forward to. Many of our weddings will be tented weddings on some seriously BEAUTIFUL residential properties! Tented weddings have challenges of their own but they provide unlimited opportunities to create something truly original as well as intimate. After all, what is more perfect than getting married at your childhood home!?
Lastly, we are excited to announce the newest employee of Life In Bloom who starts in February, Abby Hooker! Abby spent the past summer with Life In Bloom as our first-ever Summer Intern and she impressed us so much that we just had to have her on our team! We can’t wait for you all to meet her in 2020! Cheers to another wonderful year ahead!
