Timeless, elegant, and romantic to the core. Those are just a few words to describe Andrea & Cam’s gorgeous wedding at the Chicago History Museum that we were so lucky to be a part of this past July! Because Andrea is also in the wedding industry, we were so honored that she chose us to bring her floral vision to life!
The color palette of blush, ivory, & lavender that Andrea chose was a perfect compliment to the season and also to their venue. The Chicago History Museum is stunning! If you are looking for a classic Chicago venue then you must check it out! The soft gray walls of the venue provided the perfect backdrop for the light shimmering gold linens and pastel flowers that adorned the tables. The centerpieces were designed in gold mercury glass compotes and filled with the most romantic blooms. White hydrangea, peach & blush garden roses, lavender stock, pink lisianthus, and touches of eucalyptus provided a very elegant and timeless look for the centerpieces.
Andrea’s bouquet was so beautiful, I wanted to submerge my face in it… Peonies are also one of her favorite flowers, and with their wedding falling at the end of July, one can never be sure about their availability. However, a cooler than normal summer brought some stunning peonies around in July and we were able to incorporate them into her bouquet along with some garden roses, sweet pea, ruffled lisianthus and a touch of dusty miller. Delicate perfection. Enjoy the photo’s below, all captured by the amazing Codrean Photography Team.
