Maureen & Anthony reached out to us with the vision of a colorful floral palette yet elegant mood for their fall wedding at the Adler Planetarium.
To many, the idea of bold colors and romantic elegance may seem like two contradicting visions, but for Life In Bloom, it was the perfect opportunity to get creative and design something fresh, unique, and of course, stunning.
October is usually one of the busiest months for weddings in Chicago, and this past year was no exception for Life In Bloom… and for good reason! The weather on Maureen & Anthony’s wedding day (October 25th) was nothing short of perfect. What bride wouldn’t want to get married on a crisp fall day when the trees are ablaze with color?
Upon entering the Adler Planetarium, guests witnessed a variation of different styled centerpieces, all of which evoked a “WOW”. Throughout the dusk-filled room, the tables were covered with navy linens and hosted tall glass vases filled with a beautiful collection of coral, orange & yellow roses, orange dahlias, yellow orchids, hydrangea and a touch of greenery. The rest of the tables were adorned with a collection of vases with submerged orchids and floating candles.
The use of glass in the room along with the crystal chandeliers that were hung over the dance floor felt extremely cohesive and worked perfectly with the glass walls/ceiling which overlook the city’s breathtaking skyline.
Congratulations to one of the sweetest couples that I have had the pleasure to work with! Now, enjoy these beautiful shots from Ashley at Artistrie Co. below!
