Spring Garden-Inspired Wedding at Exmoor Country Club

This past Spring, we had the privilege of designing and producing Emily and Ian’s Wedding at Exmoor Country Club in Highland Park.  This was just our second wedding at Exmoor Country Club and the tent, which gets set up just off of the club’s main dining room is the perfect setting for a Spring wedding!  Every which way you look, you are surrounded by a densely planted landscape full of flowering trees which acted as the perfect backdrop to their wedding reception.  For Emily and Ian’s wedding, we incorporated many of our favorite spring blooms. Peonies, Spirea, Ranunculus, and Jasmine Vine all made their way into the floral palette.

For this wedding at Exmoor Country Club, the Bride and her bridesmaids carried bouquets of peonies, garden roses, spray roses, salal, bay leaf, and jasmine vine.  The men sported all green and white boutonnieres with a touch of spirea, perfect for the season.

The tables consisted of three styles of centerpieces. The first was a clear glass compote which overflowed with greenery and spring flowers.  The second style was a large formal centerpiece that rested on a tall clear glass pilsner vase.  We designed these with a similar color palette but with a little more tailored form to convey a more elegant aesthetic as guests first entered the space. Lastly, the rectangle tables hosted wooden candleholders, rosemary topiaries, and a number of small boutique bud vases spread throughout the tables.

Other highlights that made this wedding so special were the suspended floral ring above the dance floor, the fresh boxwood bar backdrop, and the most stunning table number frames. The ring consisted of a base of smilax, ruscus, and bay leaf.  We then added hydrangea, roses, and spray roses.  It truly was a show stopper. But we didn’t forgo the details.  The table numbers each had a pressed leaf inside of an iron and glass frame with a white hand-drawn number drawn on the outside.

Congrats to Emily and Ian. We are so luck you chose us to bring your beautiful vision to life and we wish you the happiest marriage together!  Lastly, we were so lucky to work with a team of such wonderful wedding vendors!  All of them made this day such a roaring success!
