When planning your wedding, perhaps the idea of a small, intimate gathering with your closest friends and family appeals more to you than a large ballroom reception with everyone you and your parents have ever met. If that is the case, Chicago has some amazingly intimate venues that are perfect for your style of wedding, and today we are sharing some of our favorite hidden gems!
1. Public Hotel
Located in the heart of Gold Coast, The Public Hotel has an unbelievable rooftop that gets you about as close to the Chicago skyline as possible. 2. Kitchen Chicago
Kitchen Chicago is the perfect venue for a industrial-chic wedding. The strikingly tall ceilings and exposed beams give the venue a unique look for Chicago. Located in West Town, this venue is just a quick drive from the loop. There is also an awesome loft that is perfect for your cocktail hour, lounge area, or kids play area! 3. Little Goat

4. Promontory Point
Promontory Point is a historical gem located steps from the lakefront on chicago’s south side. The beautiful stone and wooden details on the inside create a warm atmosphere. With views of the lake from your ceremony, you really can’t go wrong. Photos by: Aneta Wisniewska
5. Nellcote
There is not enough time in the day to explain my love for Nellcote. From the chandeliers, to the chairs, to the incredible food, Nellcote is an A+ venue. Normally a restaurant in the West Loop, it has the ability to be rented out for private events and weddings!
6. La Pergola at Galleria Marchetti
Located in the Fulton Market District, Galleria Marchetti is one of our favorite venues, but may be too large for your intimate affair. What you may not know is that there is an amazing tented venue on the other side called La Pergola. The perfect way to have an outdoor wedding in Chicago.
