2012 Wedding Wrap-up and top 5 Countdown

2013 is upon us and we would like to take a few moments to reflect on our favorite events of 2012.  Thanks to everyone who helped make 2012 a good one, our amazing clients, exceptional vendors, and all you followers of our blog.  We are ready to ring in 2013 and are super excited for all we have in store for 2013, it’s going to be an exciting year with some beautiful weddings and events!

Five…

Number five on our list of favorites is our Trash the Dress Session we did with Kristin La Voie Photography.  We created a super bright and textured lush bouquet of ranunculus, dahlias, celosia, tulips, and lots of other pretty filler along with a bohemian headpiece.  You can check out the full blog post on the session HERE.

Four…

Number four is a wildflower wedding from the Quad Cities.  I adored this wedding, especially incorporating fall textures to the boutonnieres and mason jar centerpieces.  We used a lot of grass plumes, fall leaves, and berries.  View the entire blog post of this wedding HERE.

Three…

Three is a whimsical and rustic inspirational shoot done with Yellow Diamond Events and Kristin La Voie Photography.  It was a blast creating this branch structure and florals.  I am absolutely obsessed with hanging floral and votives.  I also think the clematis provide the perfect touch of whimsy in this shoot.  To view more pictures of this shoot click HERE.

Two…

A lovely garden inspired fete at the Kenilworth Club!  It was a gorgeous wedding with the ceremony outside on the grounds and the reception indoors.  I absolutely loved the bouquets for this wedding, perfectly lush!  To read more about this gorgeous wedding click HERE.  Thanks to Kina Wicks Photography for the photos.

One…

Drumroll please…. Life in Bloom‘s favorite production of the year…. The picnic themed engagement session we provided the flowers for.  Huge thanks to Kina Wicks Photography for including us in Corrie & Dan’s Picnic Themed Engagement Session.  This is my absolute favorite because of the color palette and effortless appeal.  That, and the fact that I love pastels, and those macaroons.  You can view the whole blog post of their adorable session HERE.

Thanks lovelies for a great year!!  We had a blast with all of our 2012 clients and are looking forward to 2013.

XOXO!
