One of the most fun weddings that we produced this past year took place at Promontory Point on the night of Halloween. La Belle Fleur Events was the planner and, as always, their team knocked it out of the park!
The couple wanted a fun ambience with a nod to Halloween without feeling too literal (black and orange). To accomplish this, we opted to use white pumpkins as floral vases with a floral palette consisting of peach stock, Juliet garden roses, ivory & Cream roses and scabiosa pods. The overall floor plan was one long U-shaped layout with end-to-end farm tables wrapping around the dance floor. We adorned these tables with a handful of lanterns, votives, and the above-mentioned pumpkin floral arrangements.
Other fun elements included Custom Carved Pumpkins, which greeted guests as they entered and exited the venue. We also produced a large pumpkin with the couple’s’ initials carved into it which rested on the Place Card Table.
It was really fun to see this wedding come together on the big day. Here is a rendering that we put together to convey the overall mood and layout to the couple and help them envision the overall look beforehand.
I have no doubt that the guests as well as the couple had a ton of fun! In addition to the beautiful decor, they had a tarot card reader and super fun Halloween Themed Desserts catered by Blue Plate. What a blast! Congratulations to Kelly +Dan! May your life together be as beautiful and original as your wedding day!
