Morgan Manufacturing – The Space

One of our favorite wedding venues, Morgan Manufacturing, is an industrial space in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago. We have had the pleasure of working at the space multiple times per year, with each wedding looking different than the next. When you work in a space often and see the transformations, the space can become a blank slate. You can make just about any style work with the exposed brick, skylight ceilings and cement floors at Morgan Manufacturing.

Maheen & Chris – Wedding Ceremony

Maheen & Chris wanted to create a romantic, lush, garden-feel for their wedding ceremony. The arch, made of wood to match the natural elements of Morgan Manufacturing, was draped with a blush fabric. The fabric was then complimented with smilax vines, hydrangea, roses, spray roses, dahlias and delphinium. Garlands lined the aisle with candles beautifully placed along the edges. A crystal chandelier above the arch was the perfect finishing touch.

Maheen & Chris – Wedding Reception

The most important floral & decor aspect was the dance floor ceiling. Maheen wanted a dance floor that felt like a fairy tale. The Morgan Manufacturing ceiling was filled with crystal chandeliers, smilax greenery, snapdragons and delphinium. It literally looked as though it was dripping onto them as they swayed through their first dance.

The color palette is what really popped in the room. The palette of: white, ivory, dusty blush, burgundy, plum and lots of fresh greenery filled the space. Accents like blush linens and burgundy furniture brought the entire space together.
