Floral Palette & Personals
Shannon & Hayden had a such a memorable spring Langham Chicago wedding. The floral palette was full of spring textures with some unique additions such as dahlias, hanging amaranthus and an overall emphasis on white tulips. Shannon’s bouquet was truly original and yet was incredibly cohesive with the rest of their day. Her bouquet was filled with white hydrangea, dahlias, garden roses, anemone, tulips, hanging amaranthus, eucalyptus and more! Upon delivery on the wedding day, Shannon even became emotional at the sight of her bouquet. The bridesmaids carried smaller and simpler versions of Shannon’s bouquet. The boutonnieres for the men were mixed greenery for that textural look!
Langham Chicago Wedding Ceremony & Reception
The ceremony was set with a beautiful deconstructed floral arch and many candles for a warm glow. The arch was covered in smilax greenery and fine white textures like snapdragon, stock, lisianthus, and spirea. Clusters of candles at the base of the arch added a romantic touch.
The show-stopper in the reception was the hanging tulips. Shannon & Hayden had two head tables that flanked the dance floor. The head tables were set with elevated greenery pieces that stretched across the entire table and hanging from them were hundreds of white tulips. The free-flowing stems of the tulips created an effortless, romantic look in the center of the room. These hanging tulips were set high enough so guests were able to see Shannon & Hayden sitting under rows of tulips at their table. The guest tables were set with large silver mercury glass compotes and mixed metal votives.
