“We want them to be different, but still go together perfectly.” Although these two special brides were talking about their bouquets, they did not realize that it was a perfect description of them as a couple as well. Megan and Kelly’s Kitchen Chicago wedding was romantic, organic, and full of love!
The couple started the day with a first look, where their peony and greenery bouquets complimented their dresses effortlessly. The bridesmaids, a squad of only sisters, carried simpler versions of theirs.
When we began the floral process, the girls did not know exactly what they wanted for the reception, which took place at Kitchen Chicago, but they loved the idea of garlands filled with white wax-flower and spray roses. They ended up having long tables which worked perfectly for the garlands. Hydrangea and greenery tall arrangements stood at the front of their altar, while cafe lights were strung throughout the entire venue. The entire day was beautiful, simple, and yet minimalistic.
The day was shot by the talented Stephanie Bassos. We wish Kelly and Megan a lifetime of happiness. Enjoy this small snapshot of their day below.
