Tieg and Nick (high school sweethearts) were married this past September at Kemper Lakes golf club, and we had the privilege of doing the flowers for both their reception and ceremony. The two lucked out with the most perfect weather, as they held their ceremony outside along the lake.
With the weeping willows acting as a backdrop to this beautiful setting, and the stunning floral palette of jewel tones, berries, and greenery, it all made for a picture-perfect ceremony. A vintage wine barrel flanked by a collection of lanterns acted as the ceremony focal, while the aisle was lined with shepherds hooks, each which held a mason jar full of beautiful, multi-textural fall blooms. Simply stunning.
The couple wanted to carry the rustic wine-inspired theme throughout their entire day so in addition to the ceremony barrels, we used wine bottles as a part of some of the centerpieces. Tieg, being a project manager had a pretty clear and firm idea of what she wanted in terms of flowers so we worked together to create this beauty seen below. She wanted bright jewel toned fall colors and absolutely loved amaryllis. We combined various shades of roses, peach amaryllis, along with berries and other fall textures to create a truly rustic fall look.
Congrats Tieg & Nick! Thanks for trusting us to bring your floral vision to life!
