Nestled in the heart of River North, sits an ivy covered building, properly named, The Ivy Room. This is not the first wedding we have blogged at the location, as it is one of our favorite wedding spots. Last fall, Jess and Joel tied the knot at this venue and we could not have been more excited to create a classic Ivy Room wedding for them!
The day began with white bouquets and boutonnieres with beautiful touches such as a monogrammed ribbon to tie the bridal bouquet. The place cards sat in boxes of white hydrangea to compliment the hydrangea in garlands on the reception tables. The head table was the real show-stopper though; a white hydrangea garland sat below a suspended floral piece, dripping with white delphinium and smilax.
With multiple suspended floral pieces around the room, the reception came to life. Hydrangea, ranunculus, lisianthus, roses, spray roses, and multiple types of greenery were used throughout the reception space. The candles brought everything together, adding a warm glow to the Ivy Room.
