Bridgeport Art Center
You cannot compile a list of the best Chicago wedding venues without mentioning Bridgeport Art Center. The event space is raw and exposed, yet luxurious and elegant. There are two sections to the venue: Sculpture Garden & Skyline Loft. The Skyline Loft has epic views, however, the Sculpture Garden has a unique outdoor space and a more intimate feel. Enjoy some serious wedding envy as you look through the gallery from this Bridgeport Art Center Winter Wedding that we had the pleasure of producing this past year.
Bridgeport Art Center Winter Wedding
Sydney and Brian wanted a winter wedding with subtle touches of the holiday season. So how do you bring in subtle touches of the holiday season? Christmas greens and pinecones were the first piece. We incorporated pine, cedar, Carolina sapphire and pinecones into all of the decor and bouquets. We mixed in eucalyptus and brunnia berries for exceptional texture. We artfully placed a cluster of Pine trees behind the head table creating a winter wonderland for a backdrop.
Draping down the center aisle completely softened the otherwise timber-heavy space. We created a stunning floral and greenery ring over the dance floor to define the area and make a wow-statement as guests entered the venue. The final touch was a band front design made of textured greens, birch branches and twinkle lights. A few modern touches brought in a chic element that made the event ever-so-fancy. The touches were in the ghost chairs, floating candles and sleek glass vases.
We wish the absolute best for Sydney and Brian on their new life together. We hope they love the memory of their Bridgeport Art Center winter wedding for years to come. The images below were taken by the incredible, Tim Tab Studios.
