We are so excited to share Eric and Michael’s wedding on the blog today! What happens when you have two grooms, both with incredible eyes for design? A unique, masculine, and chic wedding comes to life. The two were married at one of Life in Bloom’s favorite venues: the historic, Chicago Athletic Association.
The ceremony was dressed up with Aisle Candles as well as two beautiful focal arrangements which complimented the dark wood and large crystal chandeliers to perfection.
The tables throughout the reception were set with gorgeous patterned linens (bronze sequin, chocolate velvet, and a brown and beige damask); The round tables hosted tall elephant leaf arrangements and flanking the room were two long rectangular tables which were covered with mirror runners and a heavy treatment of smoke-glass illusion candleholders that were breathtaking against the brown velvet linens.
Each place setting included a custom menu with a paper boutonnière and the cutest napkin fold to help create the perfect mini tuxedo (see photos below)
Many thanks to the talented Olivia Leigh who photographed the special day!
