Here’s one you’ve been waiting for: The Chicago Botanic Gardens. One of the few outdoor wedding venues in Chicago, the Botanic Gardens are not only stunning, but incredibly unique.

Just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown is the Chicago Botanic Gardens. A place where your guests are welcomed with lush gardens and cobblestone pathways to the ceremony and reception areas. There are many options for your ceremony and reception location within the Gardens, each more beautiful than the next. Surrounded by the most gorgeous gardens and bodies of water sits our favorite spot, a beautiful tented pavilion. The perfect place to dance the night away.

Tips:

Any spot surrounded by lush gardens is beautiful on its own, but we love to enhance the pavilion with color and lighting. Specifically when talking about the McGinley Pavilion, we love to see a colorful floral palette brought in which really pops amongst the sea of greenery that acts as a backdrop. A mixture of low and tall arrangements look amazing, but even better is suspended floral above your dance floor, head table, and beyond. For lighting, chandeliers make a world of difference helping to create a sense of elegance. You have to check it out for yourself!
