We get to take a virtual walk through some of our favorite Chicago wedding venues in an effort to help engaged couples chose the best space for their wedding! Each week we spotlight one of our favorite venues about share a little bit about what makes the venue so great. Today we cast the spotlight on 19 East. This chic venue, located in The South Loop, is perfect for the fashion-forward couple that wants a beautiful wedding venue with a little architectural flair. Check it out below:

Managed by the established catering company, Food for Thought, 19 East is a stylish and well-run venue perfect for your wedding ceremony and reception. The space has so many unique features include the marble tiled bar, the black-and-white tiled floors in front of the bar, the beautiful herringbone parquet floors throughout, and the super high ceilings and large windows all which attribute to the beautiful aesthetic of 19 East. We highly recommend checking it out!
Tips:
The space has a fairly neutral palette (which we love), so adding color and contrast brings the room to life. A bold fall palette or bright spring palette will both really pop and look great in the space. Use a combination of rectangle and round dining tables for a fresh look in the dining room. Draping the tall windows and in between entry ways adds the perfectly romantic touch. Finally, be sure to utilize the shelves above the built-in bar. We recommend doing votives all the way across (pictured below) or perhaps some custom artwork to really customize the overall design of your event.
