It seems like just yesterday, but somehow it has been two months since we had the privilege of producing the most beautiful Langham Chicago Wedding we’ve ever seen! The green and white floral palette included some of our favorite Spring Blooms, specifically the Spirea, along with large branches of Olive, which completely transformed the Langham Chicago Ballroom into a truly romantic atmosphere.
First off, it should be said that our couple, Laura and Eric, were an absolute dream to work with! Not only was their love for one another so incredibly evident on their big day, but they trusted us to bring their vision to life every step of the way and we feel it really paid off! Also, if you’ve never been to a Langham Chicago Wedding, whether for a wedding or just a fun staycation, we highly recommend it! The service from top to bottom is top notch and definitely gets the Life In Bloom stamp of approval!
Highlights from Laura and Eric’s Langham Chicago Wedding could be seen the moment guests walked into the space down to the more intimate details in the personal flowers. Specifically we were in love with their ceremony! Laura and Eric’s ceremony was framed by the most gorgeous fabric arch drenched in smilax white blooms. The aisle, which lead up the the ceremony backdrop, was made up of 8 massive greenery arrangements in large glass garnier vases. These were placed atop clear acrylic pedestals which were evenly spaced along the aisle. In between each arrangement was a low acrylic riser which displayed a heavy treatment of candles and smilax greenery tuck in.
Next, to compliment the acrylic pedestals, we had lucite escort card panels custom made to sit in our custom gold stands directing guests to their assigned seating. While guests were mingling during cocktail hour, our team (along with the catering staff at The Langham Chicago) quickly transformed the ceremony space into a romantic reception that most brides only dream of.
