About Us:
Life In Bloom is a High End Boutique Wedding & Event Florist located in Chicago, IL. We are entering our 5th year of business this spring. We are located in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago and are a quickly expanding company. As a result, we are currently seeking Part Time Floral Designers as well as Part Time Studio Prep Assistants & Install Assistants.
Studio Prep Assistant Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Organizing the Floral Studio
Cleaning & Prepping Vases
Floral Processing & Conditioning
Event Installs- Availability on some Weekends
*No Experience Required
Floral Design Assistant:
Floral Production of boutonnieres, corsages, centerpieces & bouquets
Floral Processing & Conditioning
Event Installs – Availability on some Weekends
*3+ Years of Experience Required
Event Install Assistant:
Event Install Crew-involves packing & loading of all design elements in van or truck then set up of all wedding elements at the venue including; Draping, Floral, Aisle Runners, Ceremony Backdrops, Furniture, Bars, etc.
*Availability on weekends is a must! Availability to drive a cargo van or truck is a bonus.
Applicants must be:
Dependable
Personable
Organized
Efficient
Detail Oriented
Have a strong work ethic
Ability to lift 50lbs
Available to work weekends
Have a valid driver’s license
Each of these positions are part-time & freelance (typically 15-25 hours per week).
Event Install Assistant is also part-time and usually just on Weekends, hours vary.
Compensation will be based on experience, creativity & efficiency.
