In our new event design blog series, we are going to go into depth about some of the services we offer besides floral. Today we are focusing on lighting and all the options you can do pertaining to lighting. Lighting is one of my favorite reception additions; it can truly transform your space. Here are some amazing options:
Up-Lighting
Up-lights give your room an overall incredible glow. They sit on the floor, shine against the wall and are very reasonable for the impact they make. We usually recommend an amber color because it makes your event feel warm and intimate.
Pin-Spotting
Pin-spotting is a very cool effect if you are in a dark space. These lights are hung on a wall or ceiling and basically put a small spot light on all of your centerpieces. It really makes your floral a focal point.
Hanging Chandeliers
Bringing chandeliers into your venue can be a total WOW factor. They immediately make your reception look chic and give a finishing touch like you wouldn’t believe. We also love using hanging chandeliers at outdoor ceremonies hanging from a tree or trellis.

Café Lights
These string lights are all the rage. We are always looking for the nearest tiki bar with a string lit patio, and always recommending a string lit reception! Perfect to be hung over a dance floor or across your entire space, café lights create an intimate atmosphere we love.
Dance Floor Wash
A dance floor wash gives your guests the effect of lighting on the ground. They can be dancing over a design or even your monogram. This can really brighten up a dark dance floor.
