10 Best Wedding Venues (in the U.S.) that we’re dying to work at!

Best Wedding Venues in The United States

Chicago is home to some of the best wedding venues in the united states. We have, in our backyard, a plethora of both timeless, elegant wedding venues as well as some fun and unique spaces too. And over the past 9 years, we have worked at nearly each and every one of them. And while we are based in Chicago, we do travel and will do floral and decor for destination weddings. In fact, we have 3 out-of-state weddings this year alone!

The other day we as a team found ourselves discussing some of the other venues throughout the country that we’ve been longing to work at. So naturally, we figured that is the perfect topic for today’s Blog Post! Enjoy a closer look at some of the best wedding venues in The United States!

Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, NY

Brooklyn Botanic Gardens is located in Brooklyn, New York and is the perfect spot for any wedding or celebration. The Palm House has a stunning Garden setting for your ceremony, an outdoor terrace for cocktails, and the exquisite glass-walled space for your reception can seat up to 250 guests. The Atrium is another intimate wedding location that has gorgeous floor-to-ceiling glass walls and can seat up to 125 people.

Pippenhill Farms, VA

Pippin Hill Farm and vineyards is hands down one of the best wedding venues in the united states. It is such a gorgeous spot for a winery-inspired wedding. This venue is located in North Garden, Virginia and was created by a husband and wife team (which we love) who both have a background in hospitality and design. There are four event spaces at this winery including the Granary, the Veranda, the Tasting Room (great for cocktail hour), and the Vineyard Lawn and Main Lawn (ceremony lawns for up to 200 guests). The view isn’t too bad either!

Rainbow Room Rockefeller Plaza, NY

The Rainbow Room Rockefeller Plaza is located in New York, New York. Think Class, Class Class! This swanky luxurious venue has Bar SixtyFive (the ceremony space), the Gallery (the cocktail space), and the Rainbow Room (the reception space). This wedding venue itself is 65 stories up in Rockefeller Center which gives you an amazing view and can hold up to about 250 guests. Quite possibly the best view of any wedding venue!

The Foundry, NY

The Foundry is located in Queens, New York. This industrial venue includes the Foundry’s main space, the ground floor and mezzanine, and the Courtyard. The space can accommodate 125 people for a seated dinner indoors, or 165 for seated dinner in the courtyard under the tent. The Courtyard has a unique ivy-covered and plant filled courtyard with views of the Queensboro Bridge for cocktails and dinner. Since starting Life In Bloom in 2012, this is one venue founder, Rachel Wyffels has been DYING to work at!

Basilica Hudson, NY

Basilica Hudson is located in Hudson New York. This spectacular venue is an industrial church that holds a lot of history (an 1880s factory space, knitting mill, glue factory and now an arts center). This blank canvas is a great venue to be able to show your style and create a wedding space to your liking. The design options here are endless and it’s raw design makes it onto our list of the best wedding venues in the united states!

Malibu Rocky Oaks, CA

Malibu Rocky Oaks Estate Vineyards is located in Malibu, California and was founded and family owned since 2003. It has played host to many of California’s Celebrity Weddings. A typical setup would be your ceremony on the helipad, cocktails on the North patio, dinner on the pool patio, and dancing inside. This venue can accommodate about 150 person guest count and not to mention their 10 acre vineyard has a breathtaking view of the Santa Monica Mountains.

Haiku Mill, Maui, HI

The Haiku Mill is located in the town Haiku on the island of Maui, Hawaii. The Mill is a restored castle in the jungle, that can hold 80-100 people. The Mango Tree is the most gorgeous space for cocktail hour and the Mill is a large space for a ceremony and reception. The dreamy jungle design that this venue offers is a must for any tropical inspired wedding. If you are up for a destination wedding, this might be one of the best wedding venues in the United States for that tropical vibe!

Stifel Theatre, MO

The Stifel Theatre, formally known as the Peabody Opera house, is located in St. Louis, Missouri. This might be the dark-horse on our list of best wedding venues in the united states but we really want to work here. This amazing Midwestern venue gives you the option to hold your guests in spacious ballrooms, the elegant Grand Lobby or host an unforgettable night of dining and dancing on the main theatre stage. The gorgeous Ballroom space can hold up to 225 guests, the Grand Lobby can hold up to 350 guests, and the Main Theatre can hold up to 300 guests.

Biltmore Estate, NC

The Biltmore Estate is located in Asheville, North Carolina. This elegant and timeless venue has 10 different venues on the property to fit any wedding style or size. This venue has lodging for your guests, a winery, restaurants, and plenty of tours and activities. Pretty much anything you could need for a wedding getaway in North Carolina! Fun Fact: The Biltmore Estate was used in the movie “Richie Rich” as the home to Macaulay Culkin’s character, a billionaire child with all of the money in the world but no friends to share it with (a good lesson to us all).

The Breakers Palm Beach, FL

The Breakers Palm Beach is located in Palm Beach, Florida. This historic venue built in the late 1800’s can accommodate any guest count (50 – 500 guests to be exact). The Italian Renaissance-style building has multiple smaller venues within it, one of our favorites being outdoors with the ocean view behind you. With warm weather and a rich history, you can see why The Breakers Palm Beach makes our list of The Best Wedding Venues in the country.
